The Pioneer PLX-CRSS12 sits at the very top of the tree of turntables from Pioneer DJ, bursting at the seams with technological advances that set it apart from any other turntable on the market today, whilst keeping a nod to the traditionalist turntablists that demand consistent performance time after time.

Turntable God Tier

The PLX-CRSS12 features the same direct drive motor that can get you up to speed (at 33 1/3) in just 0.3 seconds from the PLX-1000 which is due in part to the starting torque of the turntable being around 4.5kg/cm. This torque speed alone ensures a tight and responsive feel no matter how you use the turntable.

The turntable includes a replaceable head-shell which can swapped out for one of your own choosing - depending on your needs but we also recommend the Ortofon range of carts.

Getting Digital

The PLX-CRSS12 is not just about the traditional analogue needle on wax, it has another ace up its sleeve, the Magvel Clamp. This piece of equipment brings a whole new level to DVS, with the clamp eliminating the need for needles or even timecode vinyl in your software of choice as the turntable outputs a DVS signal to both Rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro to allow for skipless scratching.

The PLX-CRSS12 is equipped to handle any tempo, with the ability to be set at ±8%, ±16% and ±50% whilst a simple button on the deck can set you back to 0 in a flash, making mixing a simple but easy experience.
